New Sculpture Department in Museum De Pont, Tilburg
Kunstpodium-T (Zeus Hoenderop), Leerling/Meester (Marleen Hartjes) and the director of museum De Pont (Hendrik Driessen), selected ten young artist who participated in Kunstpodium-T’s Leerling/meester project in the past 5 years.
Of all the young artists who have participated in this project over the past years, ten are invited to make solo presentations of their work in De Pont’s
‘wool-storage’ spaces.

We are very happy to announce that New Sculpture Department is selected to participate in this exiting summer exhibition in one of the Netherlands finest contemporary art museums.

The upcoming months NSD will have a series of shows throughout Amsterdam.

3 shows, 3 new installations, 3 locations. NSD starts its Triptych at the Kunstvlaai 2012 “INexactly THIS”. Amsterdam. Opening 23 November until 2 December.

Kees participates in group show W139

“The Research and Destroy Department of Black Mountain College” in the W139 Amsterdam. Show is up until the 2nd of December 2012.

Lorenzo wins “Young Blood Award 2012” & “Public’s prize”
Tijmen van Grootheest, director of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy proclaimed Lorenzo Quintanilla as the winner of the 2012 Galerie Ron Mandos Young Blood Award! As well as the Young Blood Award, the general public have for the last 3 weeks voted for their favourite graduate. Unanimity was the order of the day as Lorenzo Quintanilla has the honour of also picking up this, the Public’s Prize.
